10. This proximal humerus locking plate is used for the fixation of proximal humerus fractures and nonunion. This locking plate has the following features,
10-1. Anatomically contoured plates are precontoured to create a fit that requires little or no additional bending and helps with metaphyseal reduction.
10-2. Low plate profile facilitates fixation without impinging soft issue.
10-3. Multiple locking holes in the plate head allow placement of the screws to capture
fragments while avoiding lag screws that have been placed outside the plate.
10-4. The anatomical shape of the plate head matches the shape of the proximal humerus.
10-5. Matched screws: 3.5mm cortex screw and 4.0mm cancelous screw; or 3.5mm and 4.0mm locking screws
10-6. Available with material of both pure titanium and stainless steel of medical type.
